My Friend's Pregnancy

Anne, one of my officemates recently announced that she is pregnant! All of us got so excited because it's been a dream of her for the longest time now to bear a child. Though she is not yet married to her partner since she is still waiting for her petition papers for Canada, she feels having a child with him will strengthen their relationship. I really envy her because I also want to be a mom. Well, since I want to have some tips on how to cope with pregnancy, I always ask Ann of what she is feeling and how she copes up with vomiting and changing of hormones. She told me that sometimes she can't understand herself. She normally feels down and drinks some antidepressants. I immediately shared with her an article I've read about the risk of drinking antidepressants such as Zoloft during pregnancy. Studies shows that those mothers who take serotonin inhibitors such as Zoloft during pregnancy are more likely to have hypertension that those who haven't taken them. It would also definitely affect the newborns, as one of those zoloft lawyer said on the article. She thanked me for the information as she didn't really have a slight clue that Zoloft has a harmful effects on their babies. I would continue to reseach for her about how to deal with pregnancy. I am not only helping my friend but I'm also preparing myself for my turn.
